Breast Reconstruction
Breast reconstruction is possible for women who have undergone wide local excisions or mastectomy for breast cancer.
TRAM flap and Lattissimus dorsi (ELD) breast reconstructions are possible and Mr Armstrong will be happy to describe the operations in detail and your suitability for onr or the other.
It will be possible to see pictures of patients treated with both reconstructions and be put in contact with patients who have had reconstruction under his care, to obtain a personal experience, if you so wish.
Nipple/areolar reconstruction is performed on the newly reconstructed breast at a later date and also any balancing or re-shaping of the other breast can be carried out at the same time.
