Nipple inversion should always be investigated to find out why the nipple has become indrawn. If this is longstanding and not associated with any pathological reason for the change, Mr Armstrong can perform an operation under local anaesthesia to correct the deformity.

This picture shows the results following inverted nipple correction. The picture was taken 2 weeks following the date of the operation. The patient was very satisfied, as the result was longlasting, and it is something that had affected her confidence for many many years.
