LABIAL REDUCTION
Labial Reduction is a procedure which I started to perform at the request of my gynaecological and obstetric colleagues for women with congenitally large labia or to repair or reconstruct tears following childbirth.
Due to the sensitive nature of this procedure a consultation is required to decide on the most appropriate surgical correction or adjustment of the labia. I have devised an operation that can be performed under local or general anaesthetic and takes approximately 45 minutes to perform safely.
I am in the process of publishing the
results of this operation in the plastic surgery medical
literature. The technique featured in an article for
"COSMOPOLITAN" magazine.
Women who request this surgery often have spent many years feeling inhibited undressing in front of partners or others (ie changing rooms at gym) for a number of years. As in many areas of plastic surgery, the taboo's associated with this subject are lifting, and the surgical correction of a congenital abnormality can be successfully treated with the application of the principles of plastic & reconstructive surgery.
If you feel you would like to discuss this further with Mr Armstrong in a consultation please contact Diane his secretary who will guide you through the process.
