French PIP Implants in the News

Anthony Armstrong has been asked for his professional opinion by the media on several occasions over the last 2-3 weeks about advice in view of the French "PIP" implant scare. For the avoidance of doubt, Anthony has NEVER used these implants for any of his patients whether they be private or, NHS breast cancer patients who required breast reconstruction following mastectomy.

His advice to patients who had the implants inserted elsewhere, is in the first instance to have a consultation with their original surgeon who placed them. If they would rather not do this, then Anthony would be happy to advise, on a private basis, about the best way forward in view of the emerging picture.
